ON DEMAND WEBINAR:

Every Drop Counts: How to Leverage SCADA and Field Data to Increase Your Production

Webinar Details

In 2015's climate of low oil prices and lean capex budgets, teams have come up against a hefty challenge: maintain company revenues with fewer wells in operation. This test can only be passed when production for these fewer wells is increased and held at the highest level possible. Production-impeding issues of any kind, therefore, need to be pinpointed and corrected quickly.

Grant Eggleton, P2 Vice President of Production Operations Solutions, will address the importance of exception-based surveillance processes, which pinpoint production anomalies and alert teams to these issues in near real time.

The benefits of exception-based surveillance processes:

  • Time-Savings: Manually collecting and validating production data is a time-consuming process; automated well surveillance renders that process obsolete.
  • No More Guesswork: Intelligent monitors that continuously track production pinpoint those more subtle anomalies that often go unnoticed when combing through spreadsheets is a company’s mode of operation.
  • Optimal Well Performance: Built-in workflows ensure that production-slowing issues are corrected as quickly as possible and production is restored to optimal levels.
